Currently, Darrelynne Strother manages online customer interactions with a government agency. She also works part-time as an after school teacher with elementary and middle school students in Washington, DC; specializing in wellness and art. She has over 10 years of experience mentoring and teaching youth.
In 2009, she graduated from the University of Virginia with a concentration in architecture and urban planning with a minor in studio art. She launched her art website in 2018 and is currently in the process of combining all of her interests (Gardening, Art, Yoga, Apiary, Wellness) into one brand; Châteaux Cocoa.
Her current focus is to complete the infrastructure of her farm and garden by the end of 2024. She is currently a Master Garden volunteer with the University of Maryland Extension program. A member of the Bowie Upper Marlboro Beekeeping Association and she also completed a course with the UDC focusing on biointensive farming. Her other hobbies include photography, crafts, botanical painting and social media.
