Chateaux Cocoa recently hosted the second annual "Beez in the Trap" Kids Workshop, led by Master Gardeners Darrelynne Strother and Frederick Kenner. Seventeen enthusiastic children, ages 4 to 12, participated in engaging activities such as interacting with chickens and creating art with beeswax. Dressed in bee suits for safety, the children explored the beehives and enjoyed tasting honey directly from the hive. This unique workshop, the only one of its kind in Prince George's County, promises even greater participation from Master Gardeners in the future.
